I am proud to announce my candidacy for the position of Superior Court Judge in the upcoming 2024 election. It is with great humility and a profound sense of responsibility that I seek to serve the citizens of San Diego County and uphold the principles of justice.
Throughout my 15 years of legal practice, I have dedicated myself to the pursuit of justice, fairness, and the rule of law. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of our legal system and the impact it has on the lives of individuals and families. As a judge, I am committed to ensuring that every person who enters my courtroom is treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or circumstances.
My professional career has been focused on serving the best interests of San Diego families. As a judicial officer, I will continue to dedicate myself to ensuring that San Diego is a safe and prosperous place for children, families, and all its hard-working citizens. San Diego is known as “America’s Finest City.” As such, San Diego deserves America’s finest public servants who are dedicated to following the law, ensuring public safety, protecting families and children, and fortifying community resources so that San Diegans can thrive.
San Diegans are profoundly impacted by the Family Law courts. Our citizens are far more likely to come into contact with the legal system via Family Court than any other area of the law. Children’s lives are shaped and changed in Family Court. This is why it is vital for Family Court judges to have experienced Family Law practitioners- so that families can be assured that the most important aspects of their lives are handled with care, understanding, and knowledge. I can offer that experience to San Diegans, who can rest assured that their Family Court matter is handled with expertise by someone who truly cares about this area of the law.
Our courts are in dire need of Judges who have substantial experience in Family Law. Your support can contribute to ensuring that qualified legal professionals with diverse legal backgrounds are elected to the Superior Court.
My vision for the role of a judge is rooted in three fundamental principles:
Impartiality: I pledge to be an impartial and unbiased arbiter of the law. My decisions will be based solely on the facts presented and the applicable legal principles, free from any personal or political bias.
Fairness: I am concerned with the fairness of our legal system. I will work tirelessly to ensure that everyone who seeks justice in my courtroom receives a fair and equitable opportunity to present their case and seek redress.
Community Engagement: I am committed to engaging with our community to build trust and understanding. By fostering transparency and open communication, we can strengthen the bond between our legal system and the people it serves.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my experience, dedication, and passion for justice to the role of a Superior Court judge in San Diego. Together, we can work towards a legal system that serves as a beacon of fairness, equality, and justice for all.
